Organs of the body serve as a necessary function for life. The totality of all your organs work together in perfect harmony; the heart pumps blood, the lungs are the respirator, the stomach digests food, etc. They all have their purpose. One might say (and so I will) that it is the perfect life system for you and me to be able to walk around enjoying this human experience.
Ernest Holmes claims, “thoughts are things.” This means before there is anything there must be the thought to it, and thoughts are our silent words. However, thoughts/words need not be sustainable unless we accept them as true and attach to them, thereby giving them energy. If we accept the thoughts as truth, then more than likely, it leads to talking out loud about them and sharing them with others.
So, if words are the “finite organs of the infinite mind” why do they sometimes work against life, causing hurt and damage. Our words/thoughts give meaning to and thus empower that in which we belief as so. This brings up the questions, “Are you aware of the stories you are telling about others? Are you talking about others in a harmful way because they have hurt you or done you wrong? Or, on the other hand, are you accepting what others may think or say about you?” In either case, what’s being created? The “thing itself.”
What if you made it your purpose to negate any thought that is harmful, hurtful or hazardous to you or someone else instantly into a life affirming proclamation? Do you believe your “organ of the infinite mind” would be healthier, hardier and happier? My answer to that is you can count on it. Know that you can be blessed and be the blessing by your own thoughts, words and deeds and then those sticks and stones will never enter your atmosphere.
